The linked constructs that characterize occupational therapy practice are summarized in the Occupational Therapy Practice Framework: Domain and Process (OTPF). It is aimed at a large audience that includes occupational therapy practitioners, students, other medical professionals, educators, researchers, payers, and consumers. The objective of this fourth edition (the OTPF 4)—which is to continue the work of its predecessors by giving practitioners structure and direction—is to help occupational therapists in clinics and other settings realize their unique worth.
